We brought the wine room concept from West Hollywood to Palm Springs and adapted it to look and feel like a  cool throwback mid-century lounge.     We serve delicious  California wines, international wines, craft beers and fun speciality cocktails, martinis and delicious upscale bar food.

The Palm Springs location in the Kaptur Plaza  is a mid-century lounge full  of whimsy and playfulness through color, textures and design.  We bring to Palm Springs our love and respect for the community's history reflective in the design and materials throughout the space.   In addition to our lounge space, we have a dedicated private event space for rental.

Join us and explore your favorite wine varietals or kick back with a cocktail on the gorgeous patio with classic Palm Springs mountain views. We look forward to sharing our lounge and a glass with you!​

James Mortensen, Owner
Dwight “James” Mortensen started his career as graphic designer with a business management background. In 2002 James made a career move to become a residential real estate agent. Over the years, James has had his real estate license in DC, MD, VA, TX and is currently licensed in CA. James also has an interest in painting, photography as well as wine. The energy and love of Palm Springs led him to setup an art studio space where he could indulge in his creative side.

Now a permanent residence of Palm Springs, James is  exploring the love of wine and cocktails in his new business adventure with the V  Wine Lounge & Martini Bar.  He has created a fun social space with entertainment where everyone is welcomed.
